- Have an interest in Maritime Safety, Maritime Security and/or Water Safety and Awareness.
- Support the goals and objectives of the association.
- Be enrolled on a recognised maritime training course, as listed in Annex 1 of the Bylaws
- Not held student membership for a period of more than four (4) years.

- Hold a recognised Maritime Qualification, as listed in Annex 2 of the Bylaws

- Be an employee or volunteer of a recognised Maritime Safety, Maritime Security and/or Water Safety and Awa

Membership Fee Conditions:
- Membership Fees fall due on the 1st of April each year.
- Membership Fees may be pro-rata, on a quarterly basis.
