Course Description: To allow those new into Search and Rescue or without formal Search and Rescue Qualifications a basic understanding of SAR Operations and how to be an effective crew member in emergency situations, culminating in a formal Level 1 S.A.R Certificate. Topics covered include ropework, knots, safe seating and positioning and effective observation (searching).
